The Exentrix boutique is well-known for its limited edition designs and its concept of ‘playing with fashion’. A place of discovery for both fashonistas and those looking for style inspiration.
Exentrix was established by William and Suzanna Van Berkel in Richmond Melbourne, in 1992.
It quickly acquired a following for it’s limited edition designs and its concept of ‘playing with fashion’. The idea of distinctive pieces that could be worn in different ways to enhance an existing wardrobe appealed to both fashionistas and women looking for style and inspiration.
By the time the second Exentrix boutique opened in Southgate in 2002, the range had expanded to provide a complete outfitting alternative, including the Exentrix Basics Collection, which has become a staple in many women’s wardrobes, as well as shoes and accessories form around the globe.
Elsje
In 2007, Suzanna Van Berkel launched a second label, Elsje. Inspired by both Japanese and classic design, many Elsje pieces are sculptural yet soft, and often made with unusual fabrics.
The Elsje label has since grown to incorporate beautiful shoes and limited edition accessories.
Apart from the Exentrix Basics Range, our designs are still produced in strictly limited quantities and styles are only rarely repeated.
